Ask Me Anything. These Are the Ones I Hear Most

Straight answers, no waffle. If your question isn’t here, message me and I’ll answer it personally.

IV Infusion Questions

What is an IV nutrient infusion?

A method of delivering vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into your bloodstream through a small drip, bypassing the digestive system. Every infusion I give is prescribed, screened against your health history and administered by me, a registered nurse.

Why can’t you list your ingredients or full menu online?

New Zealand law treats these infusions as medicines, and there are strict rules about advertising them. It’s not me being cagey. Request the menu and you’ll get the complete list with pricing by email, and we can discuss every detail in your free phone consult.

How much does it cost?

Custom drips, built around what you actually need, and my full blends both start from $319. If you want to top anything else up on the day, additional infusion add-ons are $25 each and injections are priced separately on the menu. First-time clients also pay a one-off $65 script fee. That covers our overseeing doctor reviewing your history and writing your script, and it covers you for 12 months, so any further infusions in that time have nothing extra on top. Cosmetic injectable appointments start from $120, and the consultation before them is free. The menu has full pricing for everything. Request it, no obligation.

Won’t I just wee out the nutrients?

Your body does excrete what it doesn’t need; that’s true of everything you consume. The difference with IV delivery is absorption: nothing is lost to the gut on the way in. Whether that’s worth it for you is exactly what the free consult is for.

Is it safe? Can anyone have one?

It’s a medical treatment, so it comes with medical safeguards: a full health questionnaire, a prescription from our overseeing doctor and a registered nurse administering it. It’s not right for everyone. Some conditions, like kidney disease or certain allergies, mean I’ll advise against it or suggest alternatives. I’d rather lose a booking than take a risk with you.

What should I do before my appointment?

Drink plenty of water, have a light meal and wear something with easy access from the elbow down. The drip runs 30 to 45 minutes; allow about an hour all up.

Where do you see people?

Individual appointments run at my set clinic days: Extraordinary Skin and Beauty in Kamo, just north of Whangārei, on Tuesdays, Thursdays until 6.30pm and every second Saturday, and The Wellness Hub, 2a Lemon Grove, Waipapa, just north of Kerikeri, on Fridays. I no longer travel out to individual appointments. Group bookings are the exception: for those I still come to you, anywhere across Whangārei, Kerikeri and the Bay of Islands. Message me with the numbers and the location and we’ll plan it.

Cosmetic Injectable Questions

What cosmetic treatments do you offer?

Nurse-led injectable treatments with a focus on skin boosters and skin hydration, plus options for softening the visibility of frown lines and wrinkles, restoring volume, lip enhancement and excessive sweating. Advertising rules limit the detail I can give online, so request the menu for the full list and pricing.

Will I look obviously done?

Not with me. My whole approach is subtle: you on a really good day, not a different face. At your consultation I’ll tell you honestly what will suit you, and sometimes my honest advice is to do less.

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes, every new client starts with one, and it’s free. Half an hour on your medical history, your goals, realistic outcomes, costs and aftercare. You’ll never be pressured to treat on the spot. If you’ve had work done elsewhere and want a second opinion, that review is free too.

Booking Questions

How do I book?

Two ways, both fine by me. If you already know what you want, book online any time and pick your slot. If you’re new or want to see everything first, request the menu: you’ll get the list and pricing by email, then a free phone consult if you’d like one. Either way, once you’re booked your forms come through to fill in, both short, and you can do them ahead of time if you’d rather: the health consent form. I then consult with our overseeing doctor, who writes your prescription before your appointment, so the medical side is signed off before you arrive. If it’s your first infusion, that’s where the one-off $65 script fee comes in, and it covers you for 12 months. If I’ve taken a deposit it comes off your total, and the rest is settled on the day for whatever you’ve had.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

I may ask for a deposit to hold your spot, and if I do, it comes off your total on the day. It keeps things fair for everyone waiting for a spot. If your plans change, call or message me and we’ll rebook you.

Can I buy an appointment for someone else?

You can gift an appointment, and the recipient completes their own health assessment before any treatment is confirmed. Message me and I’ll set it up.
